Palisade
has released a new version of @RISK
for Project, its risk analysis add-in for Microsoft's Project
(version 2000 and later). By incorporating two standalone tools
previously sold separately, Palisade has expanded the functionality
of @RISK. The new version, which sports
a re-engineered simulation engine for faster operation, features
the addition of RISKview, Palisade's
interactive graphic viewer for displaying probability distributions.
BestFit, a tool in the Professional
edition of @RISK, suggests the best distribution function to describe
a particular set of data. Both tools improve the accuracy and speed
of the simulation process as well as enhancing your understanding
of the simulation.
